Multi-omics data-scatter plot of MFA(multiple facter analysis)

This figure is showing scatter plot of MFA(multiple facter analysis) in two dimensions. Here, we can see how the samples are distributing  along with x-axis(dimension-1) and y-axis(dimension-2).

Here, Dots represents samples. Red dots represents CMS1 sample while Blue dots represents CMS3 sample.

CMS groups are mainly concern in biology of colorectal cancer that shows the behaviour of different tumours.

CMS1 is related to immune activation, inflammatory signalling, , microsatellite instability while CMS3 is related to metabolic dysregulation and epithelial features. It(CMS3) is metabolic-driven, not by immune- driven.

In this figure, we can see in someplace the overlap between CMS1 sample and CMS3 sample, this is important for clinically because this place is showing intermediate or mixed condition, it means that heterogeneity of tumour, transition state between immune feature and metabolic feature, here clinically, the treatment is difficult compare to pure like in CMS1  and  CMS3 cases.
